VOLUSIA ONLINE LEARNING SUMMER SCHOOL - Grades 8-12 may take Personal Fitness, Fitness Lifestyle Design and Driver Education for original credit. 

Volusia Online Learning is hosting summer school for students needing high school courses for credit retrieval and for grade 8 students needing credit retrieval and also acceleration for elective credit high school courses: Driver Education, Personal Fitness and Fitness/Lifestyle Design.

ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS

 

  • Students may be placed on a waiting list or asked to choose another course based on enrollment capacity. 
  • Summer virtual courses have not been approved by the NCAA Clearinghouse. If you plan to attend a Division I or II college, do not take a summer school course.
  • Students must have received an "F" as a final course grade in order to participate in summer sessions, although middle school students may take a high school elective to accelerate.
  • Students may only enroll in one course subject only.
  • High school students may choose semester 1 or semester 2 for identified courses. Seniors requesting a course needed to graduate this year will be given priority.
  • Middle school students may choose one quarter for identified courses. 
  • Students are responsible for providing their own computer device and Internet access during summer sessions.
  • Students are required to participate in proctored summative exams at either Atlantic, Seabreeze, DeLand, Deltona or Taylor High Schools or Career Source:  Daytona Beach or Orange City.
